You must be a registered owner of AutoDoubler to use these patches.
IMPORTANT: Use the right version
To determine the version of AutoDoubler that you are using, use the Finder's Get Info command on AutoDoubler. AutoDoubler is located in the System Folder (system 6.0.x) and the Control Panels folder (System 7.0.x).
Be sure to use the correct version of the patch.
YOU MAY OR MAY NOT GET AN ERROR IF YOU USE THE WRONG VERSION OF THE PATCH.
If you don't use the right version, the resultant AutoDoubler may crash.
NOTE: If you get the following alert, then you are using the wrong version of the patch:
The following problems are FIXED in AutoDoubler 1.0.3:
• conflict with DiskExpress II under System 6.0.x
• problem compressing files on AppleShare® 2.0 servers
• problem with Microphone II sending too much data when file is compressed
• problem with PrintMonitor reporting an "error: where = 80, why == xxx"
• change so that AutoDoubler detects if it is being interfered with by programs such as GateKeeper.
• heavy-duty verify routine when compressing in the background to detect any file problems caused by disk erros. (This happens only if verify is turned on). A special alert appears if AutoDoubler detects problems.
